Hutschenreuther is one of the most renowned names in German porcelain manufacturing, with a history that dates back to 1814. Founded by Carolus Magnus Hutschenreuther in Hohenberg, Bavaria, the company was one of the earliest in the region to establish a porcelain factory. The company expanded under the leadership of Lorenz Hutschenreuther, Carolus's son, who established another factory in Selb in 1857.
