Origin & Maker
Robert Haviland founded his porcelain manufactory in Limoges in 1924 at the age of 27, continuing a family legacy linked to the prestigious Haviland name in the world of fine porcelain. His great-great-grandfather, William Haviland, established a porcelain import company in New York in 1835. Drawing from this heritage, Robert Haviland infused innovation and creative craftsmanship into his work, combining traditional techniques with modern designs.
Before merging with Camille Parlon, Robert Haviland's manufactory gained recognition for its exceptional porcelain tableware. His creations were sought after by royal families, embassies, and luxury hotels. Known for bespoke craftsmanship, the manufactory produced exquisite dinner services and decorative pieces, solidifying its status as a symbol of French elegance in porcelain artistry.
